Terms of Service

By accessing and using CATGDOM ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

CATGDOM is a fan-made guild management platform for the game Albion Online. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Sandbox Interactive GmbH or Albion Online.

You must be at least 16 years old to use this Service. By using CATGDOM, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 16 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws
• All information you provide is accurate and current

If you are between 16 and 18 years old, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use this Service.

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features, you must create an account by providing:

• A valid email address
• A display name
• A secure password

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, illegal activity, or behavior that harms other users or the Service.

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Scrape, copy, or steal content without permission
• Spam, advertise, or solicit other users
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create on CATGDOM (event descriptions, build guides, comments, etc.). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the Service.

5.2 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your content. You represent that:

• You own or have rights to the content you post
• Your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights
• Your content does not contain harmful or offensive material

5.3 Content Moderation

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate. We are not responsible for user-generated content.

CATGDOM features a virtual currency system (Silver Coins and Gold Tickets) for guild management purposes. These virtual currencies:

• Have no real-world monetary value
• Cannot be exchanged for real money
• Are awarded at the discretion of guild leadership
• May be reset or modified at any time
• Are lost if your account is terminated

CATGDOM and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CATGDOM and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Albion Online: All references to Albion Online, game mechanics, items, and related content are the property of Sandbox Interactive GmbH. This is a fan-made tool and is not officially endorsed.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties of uninterrupted or error-free service
• Warranties that defects will be corrected
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of content

We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times or that your data will never be lost.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CATGDOM AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Service interruption or downtime
• Cost of substitute services
• Damages resulting from user content or conduct

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from the use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the past 12 months (which is typically zero, as the Service is free).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CATGDOM, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any laws or third-party rights
• Your use of the Service
• Your content posted on the Service

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by:

• Updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
• Sending an email notification to registered users
• Displaying a prominent notice on the platform

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account, please contact your Guild Master or submit a deletion request through the platform.

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of the Czech Republic.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
